Yogas:


The word ‘aas’ is derived from the original Sanskrit metal ‘aas’, which means ‘to sit’. The word 'asana' can be understood in two ways. One is ‘through which a person sits’ and the other means ‘on which a person sits’.


The first meaning refers to the state of body or mind. Such as Sukhasana - The mind experiences happiness by sitting in this asana, hence the name 'Sukhasana'. Some of the asanas are named according to the position or posture of the body. Such as Padmasana. In this asana, the body is shaped like a lotus (padma), hence the name Padmasana. Moreover, in this asana, the state of mind also becomes like a thousand lotuses.


Maharshi Patanjali has said, ‘Sthir Sukham Asanam’ i.e. asana is a state in which the mind feels a constant feeling of happiness or comfort and in that state the body has to be kept stable.

The main place of these defects is the part which is called Roop, from that part the defect is removed by Panchkarma


Punch means five, karma means process, thus the five main processes performed for different diseases are Panchkarma. This consists of five actions, hence known as Panchkarma.


Just as medicine and surgery have different significance in the science of allopathy, so does Panchkarma. Panchkarma is a method that works on the principle of surgery. That is to remove the thing that causes disease in the body. The difference here is that in Panchkarma there are no checks or cuts on the body, but waste is removed from the body by natural means. This process, which is suitable and does not harm the body, gives strength to cure the disease quickly and radically. Punchkarma removes toxins from the body in the form of waste and improves and balances the functions of the body. With this method, in the old - stubborn diseases, there are more faults - rubbish - waste vs. It is expelled from the body and destroyed by the roots.


What are these five processes?



Vomiting
Defecation means diarrhea by medication,
Basti means Ayurvedic enema,
Nasal means nasal spraying and
Raktamokshan means the action of removing bad blood in blood waste
