Program of advertisements to be released during the year 2023
Following is the program proposed by Gujarat Public Service Commission as per the advertisements to be published during the year 2023 for direct recruitment through competitive examination for various posts.
For more information candidates may visit Commission website https://gpsc.gujarat.gov.in and https://gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in or follow Commission's Twitter handle '@GPSC_OFFICIAL' or Commission's android platform based mobile Candidates are advised to use the application 'GPSC (Official)'
Instructions for Candidates:
1. The above dates of publication of advertisement and preliminary/main examination are tentative. In case of non-finalization of common candidates and recruitment rules in other recruitment board examinations or more than one examination or in any exceptional circumstances the Commission shall have the unfettered right to change the dates of advertisement or examination.
2. The number of posts currently indicated by the Commission is notified. The number of posts in the advertisement is subject to fluctuation by the Government Departments as indicated in their requisitions.
3. Primary test will be 'OMR' based or 'Computer Based Recruitment Test' (CBRT) depending on the number of candidates.
4. The OMR Sheet of each candidate will be placed on the website of the Commission on the day of the examination or the next day depending on the number of candidates.
5. In case of direct recruitment the preliminary test will be conducted by the commission. Candidates who fall within the eligibility criteria fixed by the Commission in the preliminary test and satisfy the conditions mentioned in the recruitment rules in the advertisement will be called for face-to-face interview. The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the preliminary test and the marks obtained in the face-to-face interview in proportion to the total marks. Other matters will be mentioned in the detailed advertisement regarding the recruitment.
